Thirteen fun and funky pieces that are designed to provide the intermediate to advanced level player with an opportunity to play-along with a great rhythm section, reading original compositions by Andy Scott and Mark White.
Each track includes a carefully crafted opportunity to improvise that is simply based on one or two keys or scales. The result is a book that is suited both to experienced improvisers and especially those that may be new to improvising.
Keys of C, B flat, E flat treble clef & C bass clef. Informative performance and programme notes for every piece.
The backing tracks feature Andy Scott’s SaxAssault rhythm section – Paul Kilvington (keyboards), Ollie Collins (bass guitar) & Elliott Henshaw (drums).
Downloadable rhythm section parts are also now available. As well as using the play-along backing tracks which accompany the book, you can now play the charts with your own rhythm section.
