Serenade for Ali is the 3rd movement from Remembrance of a Beautiful Soul for Mandolin Orchestra. This Solo Mandolin version is the original composition that Chris Acquavella composed for Alison Stephens back in 2006.
This piece features three classical right hand techniques: glide stroke (triple stroke), harp arpeggio technique and four string tremolo. The tempo shouldn't be too fast so that the full harmony can be heard and there is a gentle dance-like momentum.
