Paquito pays homage to the brilliant composer/saxophonist/clarinettist Paquito D’Rivera, and is a fast salsa based around a two-three clave pulse. Originally a commission for the British Clarinet Ensemble and Charles Hine, Paquito has proved popular for many instruments with this clarinet and piano arrangement being completed by the composer and dedicated to the memory of Charles Hine.
