Sean Bernard is an award-winning composer and performer from Perth, Australia with a passion for synthesizers and saxophones. He has composed scores for several award-winning short films and has written soundtracks for local documentaries, as well as composing music for a large variety of ensembles and solo instruments in genres ranging from rock, to classical, and electronic and experimental music.
Sean has a First Class Honours degree in Composition and Music Technology, obtained from the acclaimed Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2013 and is currently studying a PhD in music at the same institution. Having learnt music from a young age, Sean is an accomplished pianist, saxophonist and composer, but recently has spent much of his time experimenting with obscure electronic and experimental instruments.
