Seethe: to be in a state of turmoil
SEETHE is scored for massed saxophone orchestra and rhythm section, and was commissioned by the British saxophonist and composer Andy Scott, to whom it is dedicated. It was premiered by Andy Scott & Matt Styles (directors) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in August 2013, and received its UK premiere in November 2013 in Manchester. This arrangement was first performed by the RNCM Big Band under Mike Hall.
