The piece is all about beauty, sadness and tranquility and this should be reflected in any performance. You will see that occasionally the composer has written a low B in the flute part. If you don't have this note on your instrument, bars 13 - 16 ( first two beats ) should be played an octave higher ; also the first note of bar 71 can be played up the octave.
