Christoph Enzel is a Berlin based freelance saxophonist, arranger and composer. He's the tenor saxophonist of renowned clair-obscur saxophone quartet and a member of the award winning saxophone orchestra „Selmer Saxharmonic“. In adition to that he's the saxophonist of Ensemble UnitedBerlin, one of Germany's most renowned contemporary music ensembles.
With all these groups he has played concerts all over Europe and in the US. Both as a soloist and substitute he has played with numerous orchestras, such as Berlin Philharmonic, MDR Radio Orchester Leipzig, and NDR Symphonieorchester. He has arranged and composed more than 100 works for his groups and other institutions such as Stiftung der Berliner Philharmoniker, Martinu Gesellschaft Basel, Spark - the Classical Band, award winning saxophone trio Sax Allemande and Theater Bielefeld. His compositions and arrangements are published by Astute Music, Schott Music and Advance Music. |
