Our Delivery Process:
- We aim to ship all items within three working days of receiving your order (excluding GB Public Holidays) , athough we cannot guarantee this.
- All items are carefully packaged.
- All UK orders are sent via first class UK postal service or by courier and we will send you an email to confirm when your order has been dispatched.
- All non-UK orders are sent by UK postal service via air mail and should arrive with you within 5-10 working days from the time you received your dispatch notice email from us.
- Most orders outside the UK are tracked (dependant on country), we will send you a tracking number with your dispatch note.
- From our experience most countries postal systems are fairly swift, however please allow up to 28 days.
- Shipments outside the UK may be subject to local import charges and taxes, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you have any questions about Astute Music Ltd's Delivery Process please email them to a[email protected]
Our Delivery charges:
- For UK orders, we have a flat rate postage charge according to the value of the books you are ordering.
- up to £20 - £3.50 p&p
- £20.01 - £50.00 - £4.99 p&p
- £50.01-£99.99 - £7.99 p&p
- £100.00+ - £9.99 p&p
- For all orders outside the UK the postal charges are automatically calculated by weight.
Our Returns Policy:
At Astute Music Ltd we want you to be pleased with your purchase every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy.

Our download music is not returnable. The sheet music and audio materials offered and digitally delivered by Astute Music are deemed to be 'Services' for the purposes of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Because of the nature of the Services offered on Astute Music, you agree not to exercise any right of return or cancellation concerning:
- The supply of Services which execution has already started (i.e Download has commenced).
- The supply of goods which cannot be returned because of their nature.
- The supply of software you downloaded prior to the commencement of a Download (or acquisition of any goods).
- For all other items:

To return an item:
- To return an item, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected] quoting your order reference number. You will be provided with a Returns Number which you must include when sending back your order. This Returns Number is a requirement for all returned orders - without it we cannot provide a refund! Enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address below. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any), with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories. Then send the package to the address at the bottom of this page.
- This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelling an item:
- Under the United Kingdom's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. This applies to all our printed products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of audio products where the item has been unsealed or in respect of digitally downloaded items.

- Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
- If we do not receive the item back from you within a reasonable time, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
- As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund within 30 days of cancellation the purchase price for that item less, if relevant, any part of the costs of returning the items to us not paid by you or the cost of collection incurred by us.

Historical records
- We are obliged by HM Customs and Revenues to keep some information, such as purchases, for at least 6 years, as detailed in their policy document "Keeping records for your Tax Return". These are kept securely at our head office and destroyed after 6 years.

Digital Downloads:
Introduction
Digital downloads are computer files of some of our products that you can (a) Purchase (b) Download to your computer (c) either play, or, view and print yourself. Their advantages are:
- Ability to download immediately after purchase (ie. no need to wait for the post)
- No postal delivery charges (non-downloadable products will still incur postage charges)
Formats
- Digital downloads that can be viewed and printed, are available as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. If you find that you can not view the contents of the file, just download and install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
- Digital downloads of music are provided as MP3 files. You should be able to play with directly.
- Some products are supplied as a bundle of individual files, that are combined into a "zip" file. You should be able to open and "unzip" the individual PDF files for subsequent viewing and printing.
Purchasing
Downloadable products can be added to your shopping basket just as with ordering conventional printed books or accessories. Your order can happily include both downloads and printed books, CDs etc. Your downloads will be accessible immediately after payment using your credit or debit card, or you can log-in to your account (click My Account in the horizontal menu), and scroll down to My Downloads.
Copyright
When you buy downloads from Astute Music, you are purchasing music that is protected under copyright law.
The music is intended for your own use only, and must not be duplicated, copied or passed to anyone else.
You may print the music out onto paper as required, and/or use it on-screen on any electronic device, but only for your own use.
Returns Policy

Trade
- Info on placing a trade order: if you wish to place a trade order, you will need to email us with the full name, address, phone number, and web address of your music shop, plus your name and contact details. We will then email you our catalogue as an excel spreadsheet and our Terms.
