Here's our Golden Ticket Winner.......

Astute Music Managing Director Lauren Scott said,

"In the few short years that we have been publishing mandolin music, orders from around the world have been ever increasing, so I'm delighted that our winner is from Australia."

The winner will have a piece of music written especially for them by Alison Stephens.

The Golden Ticket winner is Adrian and he is 13 years old. He has mandolin lessons with Robert Schulz but initially started playing guitar with Robert a number of years ago and then started the mandolin about 3.5 years ago. Adrian thoroughly enjoys the Mandolin and has continued playing both this and guitar.

Adrian says,

"I love playing the Mandolin as it is very a lively instrument. This competition is good as it will mean there is more music available for the amateur Mandolin players such as myself. I am also excited about having a piece written just for me. Thank you for the opportunity."
